Lördag - målardag

Medans Pappis klättrade på stegar och justerade fönster...

Whilst Daddy was climbing ladders and adjusting window frames...


... så pappade jag golvet, dock utan stege. Maskeringstejpen visade sig ha passerat bäst-före-datum med marginal - den var tillverkat 1999! (de målar OFTA om här...) Då den var inte helt samarbetsvillig inhandlades en ny och betydligt gladare rulle.

... I stayed closer to the ground and covered the floor with paper. The masking tape turned out to be from 1999 (they paint A LOT here!) and had long ago lost it's will to live, so a new one was purchased.


Och sen blev det julgransplundring! Nåja, riva ner en bård är ju också ganska skoj.

Then it was time to take down the border, which was quite fun - demolition has always been close to my heart.


Första penseltaget

The first brush with the new colour




Sparmålat (tog typ 2½-3 timmar)...

Painting around all the edges took about 2½-3 hours...



Färdigrollat (typ 20 minuter). Nu inväntas ny färg samt ett bättre skaft till rollern innan slutomgången inleds.

... but finishing with the roller took a mere 20. I am now awaiting more paint and a stronger shaft for the roller and then we're off to the finishing round.
